The names, email addresses, institutional affiliations, and other personal information collected by Sidhaya: The Official Research Journal of Bulacan State University are used exclusively for the purposes of academic publishing and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

Sidhaya adheres to the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173) of the Philippines and complies with international standards in data protection. All information submitted to the journal, whether during manuscript submission, registration, peer review, or communication with the editorial office, is treated with the highest level of confidentiality. Only authorized editorial staff have access to user data, and such information is used solely to support article processing, editorial workflow management, authorship verification, reviewer matching, and publication-related communication.

Personal data will not be sold, shared, or used for commercial or unauthorized activities. Email addresses and contact information may be used to communicate editorial decisions, requests for revisions, updates, invitations to review, or important announcements related to the journal. Aggregate and anonymized data may be used for reporting, system analytics, or indexing requirements but will never include any personally identifiable information.

Users may request access, correction, or deletion of their personal information by contacting the journal’s editorial office. Sidhaya ensures secure storage of data within the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform and institutional servers, with safeguards against loss, unauthorized access, or misuse. All data transmitted through the journal system are protected through standard PKP/OJS security protocols.
